Do You Want to Invest in Something With a HUGE Return and a Small Risk? Invest in YOURSELF!
Reading in my spare time is second nature to me. I realize it is not to many. A girlfriend asked me how I got into reading. Here it goes. The average CEO reads 60 books a year. My goal is not to be a CEO, even though in real estate we are the CEO of our business, but…this is what got me. Are you ready for this? The CEO reading 60 books a year on average makes 317 times more than the individual who doesn’t invest in themselves. Um, who can afford NOT to read?
Being in real estate we deal with lots of people. Some people we immediately connect with and others we don’t. At times, we never connect with them. This could end up being the loss of a client. This isn’t just for real estate. This could be any business. How many deals have we missed out on because we got in our own way? It is our responsibility to speak the clients lingo – not the other way around.
Second…lets talk about goals. I know I touch on them briefly, often. Why? Um, they’re important. HELLO! Do you have written goals? Do you actually know your numbers? As in, how many calls it takes to get a lead? How many leads until a lead turns into a client. What exactly the formula is to your success. This is something your leader should be able to ask you and you know the answer immediately!
I am dedicating this month to learning more about communication and goal crushing. #alwaysaimhigher
